Eso Tron

Bojan Gligić is the Regional Manager of Eso Tron company, which is a leader in the region for the harmless disposal of biowaste through innovative waste treatment process, which turns waste into green energy with a significant reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and a positive impact in the fight against global warming.


Bojan oversees the relationship with clients and the creation of sustainable solutions for managing their waste while significantly reducing the "CO2 footprint" created by industry and other business entities. Bojan actively cooperates with companies from Slovenia, Austria, Italy, Hungary, Germany, and all countries of the region.


In 2019, Eso Tron company team, represented by Bojan, won the prestigious United Nations award as part of the project "Local development resistant to climate change", the project was implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of the Environment and the UNDP representative office in Serbia.


Bojan gained expert knowledge in the field of climate change at the United Nations System Staff College on the Climate Change and Sustainable Development course, and in the field of renewable energy sources Bojan gained expertise at the University of Colorado Boulder on the Renewable Energy Sources and Electrical Systems course.


In 2019, the Eso Tron company team represented by Bojan won the prestigious United Nations award as part of the project " Climate Smart Urban Development Challenge", the project was implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of the Environment and the UNDP representative office in Serbia.


Bojan believes that for a healthier environment in Serbia, it is necessary to significantly reduce the disposal of bio-degradable waste in landfills, where all that waste decomposes in the open air and turns into harmful gases such as CO2 and CH4, while at the same time discarding significant energy potential that should not be ignored, taking into account the national goals of the Republic of Serbia to reduce waste in landfills and increase the share of electricity from renewable sources.
